Stone mosaic carpet in Hamburg

Coloured stone gravel mixed with resin was used to make this beautiful mosaiclike oriental carpet which adorns the Wilhelminen bridge in Hamburg Hafen City. Sculptor Frank Raendchen was commissioned by the Körber foundation in 2010 to do this piece of public art.
